Domains & HTTPS
Give an HTTP port a public domain under the service's Networking tab → Public. The diagram there shows which domain routes to which port.
Your own domain
- Click Bind My Domain, enter the name (such as
app.example.com) and choose the port. - At your DNS provider, add an A record for the name pointing to the server's IP address, or a CNAME to a name that resolves there.
- Zenavo redeploys, and a Let's Encrypt certificate is issued once the record resolves. Renewal is automatic.
Port 80 must stay open: Let's Encrypt checks the domain over HTTP before issuing the certificate. If you use Cloudflare's proxy (orange cloud), set SSL to Full (strict) or turn the proxy off while the certificate is issued.
Generated domains
When the platform has generated domains turned on, Generate Domain gives the port a name under Zenavo's app domain without any DNS setup. Some names, such as www, api and console, are reserved.
Remove a domain
Click × on the domain in the diagram. The project redeploys and the domain stops serving.
