GitHub
Deploy public and private repositories, and redeploy on every push.
Connect GitHub
- In a project, click Add Service → GitHub.
- Click Connect GitHub, choose your account or organization, and select the repositories Zenavo may read. You return to the project when it is done.
Only team owners and admins can connect GitHub. Zenavo gets read access to code and metadata for the repositories you select, and push events for them. To add more repositories later, open the GitHub App's settings from the repository list, or search for a missing repository and choose Try installing the GitHub App again.
Add a repository
- Choose a repository. Repositories are listed with the most recently pushed first; type to search.
- Choose a branch or tag.
- Configure Build Plan:
- Service Name: lowercase letters, digits and dashes.
- Root Directory: for monorepos, the folder that holds this service, such as
/apps/web. - Environment Variables: add rows, or click Edit Raw Variables to paste
KEY=valuelines. - Advanced Settings: the Dockerfile path, the HTTP port, and Deploy automatically when this branch is pushed (on by default).
- Build Plan Preview shows how the service will be built: your Dockerfile, or the language and version detected by zbpack, plus the port. Click Configure to change something, or Deploy.
Deploy on push
With automatic deploys on, every push to the branch builds and deploys the project. Pushes to other branches are ignored.
